I have seen many new ones buy cheap local hosting and within a month of buying they start to feel bad about their decision. Speed sucks, security sucks, features sucks.
So, even though if you don't have enough budget to buy good quality hosting then don't end up with cheap third class local hosting. You can do these things instead of buying a cheap hosting and regretting:
- Save some more money and buy good quality hosting (EIG owned hosting are never good quality, I am referring to Siteground as good quality)
- Use discount offers. Vultr is giving $25 credit to new hosting users. With this you can run there 520 MB server free for 1 year. This is enough for newly started sites.
- Use Google Cloud or AWS. They're awesome. You can host your site free for a year. Though they have limitation of how much credit worth of resources to use, a new site will not use half of that. So, this is the best option.
Two among this 3 requires you to have some technical knowledge on handling the server. If you can do it yourself do it. If not, do comment below your problem and I'll teach you how to do it.
So, instead of going for low class local web hosting, use this methods. It saves your budget also and provide high quality professional services. And about site speed, here is the SS of the site that I have just hosted on Google Cloud. I have not done any sort of optimizations yet.
